Losing Passions

I don’t even know where to start…which doesn’t make much sense because when I started I didn’t know where to start either. I just started. So it is important to KNOW where to start or to just START? And if you have to question that – is it worth it?

What am I going on about? This one is so personal. I’ve always had a love for makeup artistry, but in the past 2 years the passion has been slipping from me. I am watching it walk out of my life – not the creativity, nor the skill – but the pure love I had for it. The mornings & nights I would wake up wanting to play with makeup, requesting my friends to lend me their gorgeous faces so I can paint them, the hours I would dream about what it would be to have my own space painting faces all day long with no tiredness in sight. I am watching it walk away. The worst part? I am not begging it to come back. Why is this happening? Is it normal? Can you just wake up & not have passion for what you once loved anymore? Has this ever happened to you? Please share . . .

Love & Light x

  1. I think it’s possible to no longer have the same passion for something you once had. We are evolving creatures who are constantly changing and becoming more aware of ourselves. It may be renewed somewhere down the line but it’s fine if it doesn’t. It will be replaced with something else. 🙂
